To develop and manage flash calibration for engine, transmission, and hybrid control modules for our client vehicle lines.
To release the flash calibration into the corporate releasing system, and to deliver the calibration to the assembly plants and service.
Release Production Releases and Service only releases into Service
Manage Yard Hold/Flash for Issues.
Powercal Releasing – Tied to releasing function. Release a Flash file for every part number.
Controller Integration – Controller ordering and supply.
Writing Controller PER’s and coordinating with Core, the Plant and the In Plant Teams.
Acting as the vehicle team / plant interface for Core Controllers
Manage meetings with the client and paste information from the team

Qualifications

Master’s degree or engineering diploma in systems (electronics/electrics/embedded systems, automotive)

SW engineer

Flash software to bench or Vehicle (if vehicle is available) using CDA.

Basic Knowledge of Networks and protocols used in the automotive world (CAN, LIN, KWP 2000, UDS, etc.) and associated diagnostic tools (CANALYSER, etc.)
