You will play a key role in engineering, developing, and maintaining the platformIn this role you will have the opportunity to continuously collaborate and communicate with colleagues across the organization, from product management in The Netherlands and India through a diverse community of software developers and architects in India and The Netherlands, in a globally distributed SAFe Agile Release Train (ART).A Senior Software Engineer and GIS specialist is an individual with proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/application optimization. They are generally the Senior Developers within the product delivery teams.Key Accountabilities:
- Geographic Information System (GIS) lead – data needs to be geospatially correct.
- Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices.
- Technical Review, Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests, and documentation.
- Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods, and tools, bringing in best practices from market standard implementations.
- Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premises solutions, cloud and legacy systems.
- Keeping the software solution evergreen by adhering to supported software components as defined by the architecture target operating environment.
QualificationsSkills & Requirements:
- 7+ Years relevant full stack software development experience broadly ranging from front-end, back-end, cloud automation and orchestration with in-depth knowledge around industry-leading GIS software including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Portal.
- Full-stack GIS developer with experience in maintaining ArcGIS servers, authoring services as well as developing client-side GIS applications.
- Experience in building client-side maps and shareable widgets using ArcGIS JavaScript API and the ESRI Web Application Builder (AWAB)
- Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) Server (by Safe Software) – a software for geospatial extract, transformation and loading GDAL.
- FME Translator library for raster and vector geospatial data formats
- C# / JavaScript experience, with some C++ background
- Back-End Development experience with .Net Core and Development (SQL Databases, No SQL, Cloud Datastores etc) technologies
- Front-End Development experience UI Angular, JavaScript, Node JS, Web (CSS, HTML, Json, Yaml and XML)
- Experience in Agile teams applying the best architectural, design, unit testing patterns & practices with an eye for code quality and standards.
- Ability to translate Architecture designs in Feature and Stories
Educational Qualification: Bachelor / master’s in engineering (Computer Science / Information Technology)Informations supplémentaires
