Elon Musk Fires Back at Billie Eilish After She Accuses Him of Hoarding Wealth
Elon Musk and Billie Eilish are officially trading shots online. The billionaire tech mogul has responded to the singer after she blasted him on Instagram, calling him a “fing pathetic py b**** coward.”
Last Thursday, Billie went on a fiery rant on her IG Story, listing global crises she believes Musk could solve given the massive wealth tied to his newly approved Tesla compensation package — a deal that puts him on the path to becoming the world’s first trillionaire. She argued he could end world hunger, save critically endangered species, or even rebuild Gaza, but instead accused him of stockpiling his fortune.
On Wednesday night, Elon hopped onto X to return fire. Reacting to a screenshot of Billie’s post, he commented, “She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.”
Billie has never been shy about criticizing extreme wealth. Just last month, while accepting an award at the WSJ Innovator Awards — in front of several ultra-wealthy figures, including Mark Zuckerberg — she openly questioned billionaires, saying: “I love you all, but there are a few people here who have a lot more money than me… and if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?”
Her remarks came only weeks after pledging $11.5 million from her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour to support food equity, climate justice, carbon reduction, and climate crisis initiatives.
